Documents
Which documents are often prepared for import
A guide to the set, not an exhaustive list. The exact set depends on the goods and the regime.

Below are typical groups of documents. This is not a checklist “for all goods” and not a legal requirement in a universal wording.
Commercial block
- Foreign-trade contract and annexes.
- Invoice and specification.
- Packing list.
Movement and permits
- Transport documents.
- Origin information — if it exists and relates to the task.
- Permits and certificates — only if they are required for these goods.
How to use the list
Check that names, quantities and value do not contradict each other. Discrepancies in the set are a frequent reason for questions during clearance.

Clearance
How customs clearance usually proceeds
Which steps most often stand between the goods and release — and why a broker does not promise a mandatory customs result.
Certification
Certification for a delivery: where to start
When certification is usually started before import, and why issue of the document cannot be guaranteed.
In short
Is an invoice enough?
Usually no. An agreed set is needed: contract, transport, a description of the goods and other papers for the shipment.
