Payments
What customs payments consist of
Which components are usually discussed before shipment — and why an estimate on the site is not a legally binding calculation.

Before shipment, an importer often needs to understand the order of costs. This is a guide for a decision, not an invoice to pay and not an official customs calculation.
What the discussion usually includes
- The nature of the goods and the declared value.
- The shipment route and the contract terms.
- A possible classification code and regime.
- Other payments and fees, if they relate to the specific shipment.
Why the figure may change
If the code, value, document set or regime changes, the estimate changes too. An incomplete set gives only a rough guide.
The “Estimate customs costs” button on the site is an invitation to describe the task, not a calculator with legal force.

Which steps most often stand between the goods and release — and why a broker does not promise a mandatory customs result.
In short
Can the final amount be obtained in advance?
No. The result depends on classification, value, the regime, documents and the decision of the authorized body.
Will the broker reduce payments with a guarantee?
No. Permissible regime options can be reviewed; a reduction in payments is not promised.
