TN VED
TN VED classification: what to take into account
Why the code is needed, which data affects it, and why final classification is not a “broker’s guarantee”.
Author: BITEKO.UZ editorial. Published: . Updated:
The TN VED code affects payments, permit procedures and shipment risks. It cannot be chosen “for convenience” if the goods description does not support it.
Which data is usually reviewed
- The purpose and how the goods work.
- Materials, completeness, technical characteristics.
- How the goods are named in the contract and the invoice.
Where mistakes arise
A frequent gap is that the commercial name does not match the technical description. Then both payments and the permit set can be assessed incorrectly.
The role of a consultation
We analyze the inputs and prepare a position. This does not replace official classification and is not a promise that the code will not be clarified.

In short
Can “the” code be named in advance as the customs decision?
A position can be prepared from the goods description. Final classification is within the competence of the authorized body.
