Equipment import: where to start
Which inputs to collect before a line or spare parts are shipped — without promising a release time.
Author: BITEKO.UZ editorial. Published: . Updated:
Equipment and spare parts most often “break” on the description: one name in the contract, another in the passport, a third on the invoice.
What to collect in advance
- Contract, specification, invoice.
- Technical description, catalogues or passports — if you have them.
- What the shipment contains: a whole machine, a line or separate parts.
- The certification question — if it may apply to the item.
Why do this before the factory ships
While the goods have not left, it is easier to request missing characteristics. After arrival, a delay already costs time, not only correspondence.

In short
Is a commercial invoice enough without a technical passport?
Often no: without a description of purpose and configuration it is hard to prepare clearance. The exact list depends on the item.
